Nicole Nemeth graduated from the University of San Diego, School of Law, in 2011, and brings over ten years of experience to the Ledbetter Law Firm, APC. Prior to her admission to the State Bar of California, Nicole clerked with the prestigious United Stated Attorney’s Office in their General Crimes Unit, interned with the San Diego Public Defenders Office as a Certified Law Clerk where she actively represented defendants, and was chosen to work for the Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) Army Division in Fort Belvoir, where she assisted with Court Martials and prepared motions which were heard before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Throughout her private practice, Nicole began focusing on representing families in complex family law disputes with her primary focus always being on the best interest of the children, and to help parents create positive co-parenting solutions. Nicole also worked in the area of nursing home patient and employee rights, representing employees in wrongful discrimination actions against the City of Los Angeles, while likewise assisting businesses in developing employee relation dynamics that would create a healthy and constructive working environment for the respective companies. Nicole has been advocating for consumers for several years, and enjoys crafting advantageous resolutions for our clients and taking the fight to the manufacturers on behalf of our clients.
Prior to entering law school, Nicole Nemeth graduated from the University of San Diego (USD) summa cum laude with a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Minor in English, completing her degrees in two and one half years. She was a founding member of Sigma Tau Delta, Alpha Nu Mu chapter at USD, and is a continuing member of Beta Gamma Sigma. She was a proud member of the NCAA Division I - USD Women’s Rowing Team, and still loves to be on the water whenever she can. Nicole volunteers at the local animal shelters, loves the outdoors and can often be found visiting the local dog beach with her pups. Nicole is a member in good standing with the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, and U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. Nicole is a graduate of the renowned Pepperdine University – Strauss Institute For Dispute Resolution: Mediating the Litigated Case, as well as the Women’s Negotiation Academy.
